Concept Work and Dream
Ohhee Khusi Nepal Foundation, located in Pokhara Metropolitan city-5 Parsyang, is profit not distributing organization working in the field of providing quality education among the disadvantageous group of Kaski and its neighboring districts of Nepal. Similarly, this foundation aims to run social services and awareness raising programme in the sector of health and environmental conservation collaborating with various national and international organizations. Education is the backbone of change and changing society is impossible without quality education. By adopting this fact, Ohhee Khusi Nepal Foundation has been operating the Ohhee Khushi Nepal Foundation Educational Project- Hostel since 2022.
It is very sad to say that our constitution has made the provision that quality education is the fundamental right of citizens but still most of the children are out of school education. The education sector of Nepal is not working effectively for the marginalized community, Dalit (so-called untouchable) disadvantageous group of children, children of poverty group. Still there are 12 -15% of total students are deprived of school education.
Education is the key factor in bringing change in an individual, community, and country. Today’s children are tomorrow’s pillar of nation-building.
